On Saturday 23rd June, Student Rabbi Daniela Touti and members of our Rosh Chodesh group led a special Shabbat morning service. The service, which was dedicated to the memory of the late Betty Benscher, commemorated the centenary of (some) women getting the right to vote. Members of our Rosh Chodesh group choose or contributed to the readings and music – all written by women – used in the service.
After the service gifts were presented to Daniela as she completed her year long attachment to ELELS and prepares to return to her home community in France.
