This Shabbat morning, we are holding a very special service led by our Rosh Chodesh group with Student Rabbi Eleanor Davis. This service will mark International Womens’ Day.
As you will see in this update, there is much going on within our community, and I am sure we thank those who run these services and events that help to keep us all in touch in ELELS.
As Rabbi Richard mentioned on Tuesday, as a community we are looking forward in March to Passover. If anyone does have any concerns about Passover this year, with getting Pesach supplies or wishing to join other households to celebrate online on the first night, please contact either myself (07745 790869) or the Synagogue Office.
Our communal Seder is always a highlight, and this year it takes place on Sunday March 28th (on the 2nd night). Of course, this will be held on Zoom due to the pandemic, but we will all be together, albeit in our individual homes. This is one of the great communal events of the year, and I look forward to seeing as many as possible joining in with the evening, and of course with all our services and events.
Meanwhile, I hope you will all enjoy some, if not all, of the services and events listed on the update. Once again, many thanks who put in their time to organise and run such events, from quizzes to elevensies to study sessions and talks and much more.
If you have any concerns over what goes on at ELELS, or indeed, any concerns about coping in the current lockdown, please feel free to contact me on my mobile as below.
