Tu B’Shevat Seder and Activities 5781

Tu B’Shevat Seder Sunday 31st January- 4pm

Join ELELS, SWESRS and Sukkat Shalom on Zoom for a multi-generational “celebratree” seder when we celebrate the new year for trees together led by the Rabbis of our local progressive synagogues; Rabbi Richard Jacobi, Rabbi Lisa Barrett and Rabbi Larry Becker.

The list of fruits that are recommended for the seder can be found by clicking here.

The seder will be based on the PJ Library Tu B’shevat seder which can be downloaded here.

Activity Pack and Challenge

One of the opportunities presented by lockdown is that it gives us a chance to celebrate our relationship with nature. So, ahead of the festival, we have put together a booklet of activities to help everyone to engage with nature! There’s a range of activities, so hopefully everyone across the generations, whether you are on your own or with family members, will find something you find appealing and will love to do!

On of the things that we are asking is the nature photographs, artwork or poems are uploaded onto a SmugMug platform so that they can be enjoyed by all. We will also have the chance at the seder on 31st to share our experiences. Click on and download the booklet to find out more.  The booklet can be downloaded here.
